Refund policy
- The goods are in their original, unopened packaging.
- The goods have not been used, altered, or damaged (e.g., stickers have not been peeled or removed from the backing sheet).
- Return Shipping: You are responsible for the cost of shipping the items back to us.
- Refund: Once we receive and inspect the item, we will refund the full purchase price within 30 days.
- Your Choice: You may choose to have the product repaired, replaced, or fully refunded.
- Shipping Costs: If the product is found to be defective, Midstream Things will cover the cost of the return shipping or collection.
- Exclusions: This warranty does not apply to defects resulting from normal wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, or if you have physically altered the product (e.g., applied a sticker to a surface).
- Used or Altered Goods: Items that have been "physically altered, annexed or attached" (e.g., individual stickers removed from a pack or sheet).
- Custom Orders: Goods made to your specific specifications or clearly personalised.
- Digital Goods: Downloadable products once the download has commenced.
- Email us at office@midstreamthings.co.za with your order number and a photo of the item.
- If the return is for a "Change of Mind," please e-mail us to arrange to ship the item.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants, underwear, perfumes etc), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty or hygiene products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 15 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
